About Terranet
Terranet was founded in 2014 as a market research and advisory firm serving hedge fund and multinational clients with crowdsourced international market research. The next year, we began experimenting with using international digital payments, and we quickly realized its potential for changing the nature of money.
Starting in 2016, we brought together engineers, capital markets specialists, and traders and began advising firms developing other DLT applications. We advised on the buildout of numerous DLT and Fintech projects that led to the mainstream adoption of DLT in 2017-18. Since then, we’ve grown to expand our reach into exciting new projects with organizations large and small.
Today, we support projects in the fields of DLT, quantum, CBDC, AI/ML and others in a variety of ways, ranging from direct investment to providing operational expertise, to contributing as technical and strategy advisors. Our team draws from experts with deep experience on Wall Street, Silicon Valley, and the commercial banking sector, among other areas.
